On the 5th, the Robot Newspaper selected and announced 26 companies for “2022 Korea Robot Company of the Year 2022.”
A total of 26 companies were selected as the Korea Robot Company of the Year 2022 in five categories, including industrial robots, professional service robots, personal service robots, robot parts, and robot SW/platform, by evaluating the achievements and future growth potential of companies, CEO management capabilities, and market performance.
Looking at the selected companies by sector, △ Industrial robots: 5 companies including Now Robotics, Neuromeca, Doosan Robotics, Tyrobotics, and Hyundai Robotics △ Professional service robots: Goyoung Technology, Robot & Design, Syscon, X-Wage, LG Electronics, Curexo, T-Robotics, Corgarobotics, Hill Robotics △ 10 individual robots, Robotics.
Among these companies, Eugene Robot has been honored with awards for seven years since 2016, NeuroMecca for six years from 2017, and Doosan Robotics for five consecutive years. T-Robotics is the fifth winner, and it has also won CISCON, SPG, Angelobotics, Heisen Motors, and Hyundai Robotics for the fourth consecutive year this year. Robotis is the fourth winner, and Go Young Technology, Aidin Robotics, Curexo, Clobot and Twini have won three consecutive awards. Robot & Design, X-YG, LG Electronics, and Hexa Human Care have been awarded for the second consecutive year, while Nowbotics, Big Wave Robotics, Synaptic Imaging, Uendi, Kogarobotics, T-Robotics, and Hills Robotics won the award for the first time this year.
The 2022 Korea Robot Company of the Year award ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. on December 19 at El House Hall on the 8th floor of El Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, and after the award ceremony, a robot company meeting will be held with Kim Ho-cheol, head of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Sohn Woong-hee.
