Robot tech company “Hills Robotics” announced on the 12th that it won its third innovation award at CES 2023.
Hills Robotics’ “Hi-bot” has applied a hierarchical structure-based three-dimensional high-precision map production technology using a low-end two-dimensional laser scanner in cooperation with KAIST’s URL Research Institute.
By applying the technology, Hi-bot has implemented a non-face-to-face conference function using 360-degree omnidirectional stereoscopic hologram technology, and uses a non-contact touch screen method to block pollution transmission.
Hills Robotics also signed MOUs with smart agricultural company GINT and smart factory company Link Solution for robotics business cooperation, and plans to cooperate in robotics with companies such as Bosch of Germany, NEC of Japan, and Canon.
Park Myung-kyu, CEO of Hills Robotics, said, “I am most happy to receive the good news of winning the CES Innovation Award three times in a row,” adding, “We will open the door to exports based on our performance in CES 2023 so that good news can continue.”
